Electronic Receipts Data Collection (United Kingdom or USA residents only!)

Collection of electronic receipts that users receive via email as proof of payment for the
following 9 categories: Subscriptions, Bank Transfers, Groceries, Fun & Leisure, Take-away, Transportation, Gambling, Phone, Internet & TV, Loans, Fashion.
Languages/locales
English/United Kingdom or USA only
Data format
o Email data must be delivered in the .eml file format.
o It should include the following metadata: merchant category, merchant name,
receipt amount, and currency.
PII (personal information) redaction
o All the PII data must be redacted, such as seller name (if individual person),
buyer name, username, customer number, personal email, personal phone
number, order number, tracking number, residential address, credit card
number (last 4 digits).
o We will provide the full list of PII fields and placeholders to replace the PII text.
Inclusion Criteria
o Every email must clearly display the business name, date of purchase/ billing
date, total amount, and currency unit.
o The receipt must belong to the original purchase (not a refund or return)
o The receipt must be at most 2 years old.
Exclusion Criteria
o The electronic receipt is missing any of the following: business name, total
amount or the currency unit
o Purchase date or billing date is older than 2 years old.
o The transaction is a refund or a return.
o The purchase is not successfully completed (e.g. failed transactions, pre-orders)
o Partial receipts (e.g. missing pages)
o Receipts without prices
o Gift card transactions
