Economic Data Collection Specialist
Budget: €250 – €400 EUR
I need a freelancer to quickly collect economic data from LSEG and WRDS. This is urgent, so speed and accuracy are crucial.

I'm doing a master’s thesis to explore how pay differences between CEOs and regular employees affect employee engagement — that is, how motivated and involved workers feel at their jobs. I'm focusing on public companies in the US and Europe between 2014 and 2024. My research is inspired by the academic paper:
“The Influence of CEO Compensation on Employee Engagement” by Hendriks, Burger & Commandeur (2023), published in the Review of Managerial Science.
The authors kindly shared their employee engagement data appendix, which gives detailed insights into how they measured engagement scores from Refinitiv ESG. This data and their methodology form the starting point of my project, but my thesis goes beyond their work by focusing on the CEO–employee pay gap (not just CEO pay alone) and its moderating factors, such as:
HR policies
Industry wage level (high vs. low wage)
Geographic differences (US vs. Europe)
