Cook County Wetland Delineation
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I am in the planning stage of a residential development in Cook County, Illinois and must confirm all jurisdictional wetland boundaries before any design work advances. I need a licensed wetland engineer who can complete a full delineation that meets current U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Midwest Region standards.
Scope of work
• Field investigation using the 1987 USACE Wetland Delineation Manual and Great Lakes & North Central Supplement
• GPS-accurate flagging of wetland limits and data-point collection
• Preparation of a formal delineation report with data sheets, soil profiles, vegetation lists, hydrology evidence, and colour GIS mapping (shapefiles + PDFs) suitable for direct submission to the Chicago District Corps office
• On-call support for any Corps requests for additional information through the end of the verification process
Site visit scheduling is flexible, but I would like the draft report within three weeks of notice to proceed so my engineering team can keep the project timeline intact.
Please highlight your Illinois licensing, recent delineations you have completed in Cook County, and familiarity with Section 404/401 permitting.
