$30.00 – 250.00 USD

Project Overview I need assistance downloading and organizing all publicly available Environmental Impact Statements (EIS) relevant to the State of Colorado. These EIS documents are published by agencies such as the EPA, BLM, USACE, FHWA, and CDOT. The goal is to build a comprehensive dataset of these files — covering Denver, the Front Range, the Western Slope, and southern Colorado — that can later expand into a nationwide project (all 50 states). I estimate the full Colorado dataset will include around 300 PDF files, sourced directly from official government websites. Primary Sources Use these official URLs: EPA EIS Database: https://cdxapps.epa.gov/cdx-enepa-II/public/action/eis/search BLM ePlanning: https://eplanning.blm.gov/ USACE (Omaha District): https://www.nwo.usace.army.mil/Missions/Regulatory-Program/Colorado/ USACE Library: https://usace.contentdm.oclc.org/digital/collection/p16021coll7 CDOT Projects: https://www.codot.gov/projects Colorado State Publications Library: https://spl.cde.state.co.us/artemis/ Bureau of Reclamation – Colorado River SEIS: https://www.usbr.gov/ColoradoRiverBasin/SEIS.html Include Draft, Final, and Supplemental (SEIS) versions whenever available. Deliverables: All available EIS PDF files related to Colorado (federal + state level). Metadata spreadsheet (Excel preferred) with columns for: EIS Title Agency (e.g., BLM, CDOT, USACE) Year Published URL Source Geographic Focus Area (if listed) Organized folder structure: /Colorado_EIS/ /Federal/BLM/2024/ BLM_ColoradoRiverValley_FinalEIS_2024.pdf /Federal/USACE/2023/ USACE_MoffatProject_FinalEIS.pdf /State/CDOT/2016/ I70_East_FinalEIS.pdf EIS_Metadata.xlsx README.txt README file summarizing sources, methods, and naming conventions. Requirements: Locate and download all publicly available EIS and SEIS PDFs relevant to Colorado. Verify each file’s relevance and official source (.gov or agency site). Organize files consistently by Agency → Year. Upload all files to a shared folder (Google Drive or Dropbox). I will provide a public upload link — no personal email needed. Additional Notes: The metadata sheet should be in Excel (.xlsx) format. Document size or page count may be added as optional fields. This project will serve as the foundation for a 50-state EIS dataset, so I’m seeking someone interested in a long-term partnership once Colorado is complete. The ability to provide a small sample (5–10 Colorado EIS files + sample metadata) before full execution is preferred. US/Europe Based only due to download restrictions for Overseas downloading
