Overview

We’re running a data collection project to gather old booking-related emails (e.g., confirmations, cancellations, or modifications) across travel, dining, entertainment, and appointments. You do not need to make any new purchases — simply export and share existing emails from your inbox in .eml format.

Who We’re Looking For

Based in Taiwan or Hong Kong

Native speaker of Traditional Chinese

Young people, students, or early-career workers preferred

Have old booking emails in your inbox (e.g., flights, hotels, trains, buses, restaurants, movie tickets, doctor appointments, etc.)

What You’ll Do

Export relevant emails as .eml files (instructions provided after you apply).

Submit your files for review.

Get paid $0.15 USD per approved email via Veem or PayPal.

Aim to provide at least 1 sample per category (see list below).

Important Notes

File formats: .eml for emails (required). .txt accepted for text messages and .pdf for attachments (if relevant).

Only booking-related emails: confirmations, cancellations, or modifications.

Each file will be reviewed and approved before payment.

Please do not share passwords or full payment details. If visible, you may redact highly sensitive info (instructions provided after onboarding).

Q: Do I need to buy anything new?
A: No. Only share existing booking emails you already have.

Q: What counts as “booking”?
A: Confirmations/cancellations/changes from airlines, hotels, OTAs, trains, buses, ferries, restaurants, rental cars, movies, shows, doctor appointments, and similar.

Q: Is my data safe?
A: We accept booking emails only for research purposes. Do not include passwords or card numbers. You may redact highly sensitive fields if visible. We’ll provide guidance.
