Canadian Corporate Registry Data Collection - Prince Edward Island

Job ID: 40352269

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I need a freelancer to search the Prince Edward Island (PEI) provincial corporate registry and record the director/officer names for a list of ~1,100 businesses.

This is manual data entry work using a publicly accessible government website. No programming or automation is required — just careful searching, reading, and copying data into a spreadsheet.

If quality is good, I will assign three additional Atlantic Canadian provinces (Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland & Labrador) as follow-on work — approximately 5,000+ additional records.

PEI registry website: https://www.princeedwardisland.ca/en/feature/pei-business-corporate-registry/

What to Do for Each Company:

1. Type the company name into the registry search box
2. Click on the matching result to view the details page
3. Record the required data into the spreadsheet (see section below "Data to Collect Per Company")
4. If the company is not found, mark it as "NOT FOUND" — do not guess or fabricate data

Data to Collect Per Company:

- Business type
- Business number
- Entity name (i.e. business name - exactly as it is recorded in the registry)
- Registration date
- Registration number
- Status
- Address
- Nature of business
- Directors
- Source URL

Quality Requirements:

- I will spot-check entries against the registry. If there are errors, the batch will be returned for correction.
- Spell names exactly as they appear in the registry.
- Submit work in batches so we can review quality as you go.
- In the sheet of companies I have completed the first 8 rows as examples, so you can see exactly what I expect.

Future work: If PEI quality is good, three more provinces totaling ~5,000 records at the same rate, and potentially more Canadian provinces.
