Alumni Insights Data Gathering Project

We are seeking business owners who are alumni of a university to answer five short written questions about post-graduate business and financial decision challenges.

This is not consulting, coaching, or sales.

The purpose is to inform a published study on alumni decision-making after graduation.

How this works

Applicants answer five short screening questions

We will select 2–3 participants based on relevance

Selected participants will receive $50 to complete the study

Screening questions:
1)What degree did you earn, from which university, and in what year did you graduate?

2)Do you currently own or manage a business? Please briefly describe the business (name, industry, size, and years in operation).

3)Looking back to when you first became a business owner, what financial or operational decision felt the most uncertain or difficult to navigate at the time?

4)At that stage, did you feel you had access to structured guidance on how to think through major business decisions (for example: cash flow management, hiring, expansion, or risk)? Why or why not?

5)If your university had offered optional sessions after graduation on how to think through major business and financial decisions, would that have been useful to you at the time? What would have made it worth attending?
