Text Data Cleaning & Formatting

I have a collection of text-based records that need to be cleaned and consistently formatted. This is strictly a data-entry task—no analysis—focused on removing stray characters, unifying capitalization, fixing obvious typos, and delivering a tidy file that is ready for direct import into my system.

The raw files arrive in mixed Word and PDF documents, and I want the finished product in a single Excel or CSV sheet. Accuracy is more important than sheer speed, yet I do need a quick turnaround, so please let me know how soon you can realistically complete the job.

Deliverables
• One clean, fully formatted dataset (Excel or CSV)
• A brief log outlining the main transformations you applied

Acceptance criteria
– All text fields are consistently formatted (capitalization, punctuation, spacing)
– No duplicate or empty rows remain
– File opens without errors and is ready for upload
