I run a small operation whose records live inside a SQL database and I need the tables kept accurate, complete, and neatly organised. All work can be done from home; I will give you secure access to the server along with the source files (CSV, PDFs, and the occasional scanned invoice).
What the task involves
• Importing new data sets into the existing SQL schema after a quick sanity-check of field formats.
• Updating, pruning, or merging duplicate rows so that each entry remains unique.
• Running simple SELECT queries I provide to confirm totals and spot inconsistencies, then correcting anything that is out of place.
• Delivering a brief daily log that notes what was added, edited, or removed.
Acceptance criteria
• No NULLs or type mismatches left in mandatory columns.
• Referential integrity maintained across all related tables.
• Daily log submitted in plain text or CSV before sign-off.
Everything happens inside a standard MySQL environment; if you prefer to work through phpMyAdmin, DBeaver, or the MySQL CLI that’s up to you—the only requirement is that the live data remains intact and secure.
I will be available on chat for quick clarifications during working hours and can supply a small test batch first so we are sure the formatting is right. Once that is approved, the main bulk upload and ongoing maintenance begin immediately.
