On-Prem to Cloud D365 Migration
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I’m ready to move our entire Dynamics 365 Sales database off our on-premises servers and into Dynamics 365 Online. All core and custom entities, historical records, attachments, workflows, and security roles must arrive intact so our sales team can log in on Monday morning exactly where they left off—only in the cloud.
Here’s what I need from you:
• A clear migration plan that covers discovery, data mapping, cut-over schedule, and rollback contingencies.
• Extraction of the current Dynamics 365 Sales data, cleansing where required, and transformation for online compatibility.
• Execution of the migration using Microsoft-recommended tooling such as Configuration Migration, Data Export Service, Azure Data Factory, or any other proven approach you prefer, provided it stays within Microsoft’s best-practice framework.
• Validation testing to confirm entity counts, reference integrity, workflows, and security privileges match the source system.
• A brief post-migration knowledge-transfer session so my internal admin can manage the new environment confidently.
Success will be measured by a fully functional Dynamics 365 Online Sales instance, data parity with on-prem, and no critical issues in the first week of production use. If you’ve completed similar Dynamics 365 on-prem to online migrations, let’s talk—your experience will make this transition seamless.
