Numeric Data Formatting Cleanup Task

I have a dataset filled with numeric fields that are suffering from inconsistent or outright incorrect formatting—mixed decimal separators, extra commas, stray text characters, the typical culprits. There are no missing values or duplicates to fix; this engagement is strictly about cleaning up the formatting so every number is analysis-ready.

You’ll receive the raw file in its current form (Excel or CSV). Work in Excel, Google Sheets, Python/Pandas, or any tool you’re comfortable with; what matters is that the numbers emerge perfectly standardized and still calculate correctly after the clean-up.

Deliverables
• Returned file with every numeric column uniformly formatted
• Brief change log or notes explaining the steps taken so I can replicate the process later if needed
