Excel Text Data Cleanup
Budget: £10 – £15 GBP
I have an Excel workbook that runs nearly 100 pages long, packed with text-based entries that were keyed in over time by different people. Because of that, the sheet now contains plenty of small typing mistakes and other entry errors that I need corrected so the information is reliable again.
Here is what I expect: every cell that holds text needs to be reviewed inside Excel and corrected wherever the original entry is wrong. I am not asking for new content or analysis—just accurate data entry correction. The file must keep its original structure, column order, and any existing formulas intact; only the text values themselves should change.
You may use the built-in spell-checker, Find & Replace, or your own quick methods, as long as all corrections are done directly in Microsoft Excel and the final workbook opens error-free. When you deliver, please send back the cleaned .xlsx file plus a simple change log that notes any larger blocks of edits or anything you felt required judgment rather than straightforward correction.
That’s the whole scope. If you have solid attention to detail and are comfortable polishing large Excel sheets, I’d like to get this wrapped up quickly.
