Excel Dataset Cleansing & Transformation

I have several large Excel files that need to be converted into a single, analysis-ready dataset. The job centres on three things: cleaning the raw sheets, validating every record, and transforming the structure so it slots neatly into the next stage of my workflow.

Here’s what has to happen:
• Map each column from the source workbooks to the target structure I’ll share, flagging any mismatches early.
• Build concise formulas (or Power Query steps, if they fit better) that standardise formats, handle errors, and automate repetitive fixes.
• Run thorough validation checks so the final tables are free of obvious errors and the data can be trusted the moment it arrives in Power BI and similar tools.

The final hand-off will be a polished Excel file (or clearly linked set of files) that contains:
• All original data cleaned and re-mapped.
• A separate, documented sheet outlining the transformations you applied and any edge cases you uncovered.
