Excel Data Cleanup & Formatting -- 2
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,000 INR
I’m sitting on several spreadsheets of raw information that need a full makeover. The job is equal parts cleaning, formatting, and intelligently merging or splitting sheets so that every column is consistent, every duplicate is gone, and the final workbook reads like a well-designed report instead of a dumping ground for CSV exports.
My primary goal is simple: turn the current tangle of rows into something anyone can understand at a glance. That means correcting typos, standardising dates and numbers, removing blanks, combining related tables where it makes sense, and breaking out large blocks of data when a separate tab will make insights clearer.
You’ll receive a folder of source files plus a short guide that flags the most obvious trouble spots. From there I’d like you to:
• Deliver one polished workbook (or a clearly labelled set of linked workbooks) that preserves all original information while presenting it in a logical, readable structure.
• Include any formulas, Power Query steps, or VBA you use so I can trace and reuse your approach later.
• Provide a brief “before vs. after” summary so I can see exactly what was changed.
I’m comfortable giving you a bit more than a day so you can work carefully, but once we agree on the scope I’d like steady progress updates. I’m online each evening from 6 – 10 (please mention your time zone so we sync smoothly).
If transforming disorderly data into crisp, reliable spreadsheets is your thing, let’s start.
