Clean Customer Data in Excel
Budget: ₹100 – ₹400 INR
I’m looking for a detail-oriented professional who can help me keep our customer records spotless. Your main responsibility will be taking raw customer data, entering it accurately in Excel, then running basic validation checks to make sure every field is complete, consistent, and correctly formatted.
What you’ll do
• Enter new customer records and update existing ones in my Excel worksheets.
• Spot and fix typos, duplicates, and missing values so the dataset stays reliable.
• Apply simple formulas or built-in tools (filters, conditional formatting, data validation) to highlight errors automatically and streamline future updates.
• Document any recurring issues you notice so we can improve upstream data collection.
What I provide
• Structured spreadsheets with column headings and clear data‐entry rules.
• A short style guide covering preferred date, phone, and address formats.
• Prompt feedback so you always know whether you’re on the right track.
What I expect
• Proven experience handling customer data.
• Solid Excel skills—if you’re quick with shortcuts, pivot tables, and basic macros, even better.
• High attention to detail and the discipline to double-check your own work before sending it back.
The workload will grow over time, so I’d like to start with a batch of a few hundred rows. If we work well together, I’ll keep assigning new datasets and may explore light automation with you later on.
