Accurate Excel Customer Data Entry
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I have a batch of customer information locked away in several PDF files that needs to be brought into a clean, well-structured Excel workbook. Your job is to extract every required field, place it in the correct columns, format it consistently, and double-check the results so that the sheet is error-free.
Source material
• Native and scanned PDFs containing names, addresses, contact details, account numbers and a few date fields.
• Some documents include multiple records per page, others just one.
What I need from you
1. Convert the PDFs to Excel, making sure each customer record sits on its own row.
2. Standardise text (capitalisation, date formats, phone number structure, no trailing spaces).
3. Run quick validations—spot duplicate records, flag missing mandatory fields, and verify totals with simple Excel checksums or COUNTIFs.
4. Deliver the final .xlsx file ready for upload into our CRM, plus a short log describing any ambiguous entries you had to clarify.
Quality expectations
• 100 % data integrity: no misplaced columns, typos, or skipped entries.
• Consistent formatting that matches the header template I will provide.
• Confidential handling of customer details at all times.
To apply
Send a brief note outlining your relevant experience with Excel data entry and PDF extraction tools (e.g. Adobe, Able2Extract, Power Query, or your preferred method). If you can reference a similar customer-data clean-up you’ve completed, that will help me assess fit quickly.
Once we agree on the start date, I will share a sample PDF and the target workbook so you can confirm your approach before proceeding with the full set.
