Windows PC Setup & Data Migration
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have a brand-new Windows computer that I want ready for daily use without any hassles. The job covers four key steps:
• Initial setup of Windows, applying all current updates and security patches.
• Installation and proper configuration of a proven antivirus/security suite (we can decide on the specific product together, but it must include real-time protection and scheduled scans).
• Full migration of my existing documents, files, and any transferable software along with their settings from the old machine. I’d like all user profiles, preferences, and licenses preserved wherever possible so the transition feels seamless.
• Connecting the new PC to the office network, confirming internet access, printer discovery, and shared-folder visibility on other devices.
I will provide physical access to both computers , the original software keys, and external storage for interim backups. Once everything is finished I should be able to sit down, log in, see all of my files exactly where I expect them, open each migrated application with its original settings intact, and browse the web safely behind the installed security software.
