Retrieve Photos from Synology NAS
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I have a Synology NAS full of family photos and videos that I can no longer reach since moving to a new Wi-Fi network. I no longer have the old network credentials, but I do have the NAS right here on my desk with power and an Ethernet cable available.
What I need is clear, step-by-step help that ends with all of my files safely copied to my laptop. If reconnecting the NAS to the new Wi-Fi is the cleanest route, guide me through that. If there’s a faster way—such as plugging the drives into a USB enclosure or using Synology’s built-in Copy button—I’m open to that too; I simply don’t want to risk data loss.
A short Zoom or TeamViewer session is fine; I just need confidence that the data leaves the NAS intact and complete.
