Recover Backup Drive Files
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
My desktop’s external backup drive suddenly shows signs of data corruption and I can no longer reach the files I rely on every day—mainly Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, and PDFs. The drive still spins up and appears in Disk Management, but Windows flags the partition as “RAW” and asks to format it. I have not formatted or written anything new to the disk since the problem started.
I’m looking for a specialist who can:
• Safely clone or image the failing drive before any work begins to protect what’s left.
• Repair or rebuild the damaged file system (NTFS) or, if that fails, perform a deep sector-level scan to extract intact data.
• Deliver the recovered documents and spreadsheets in their original folder structure, together with a short report outlining the steps taken, the health status of the drive, and any unrecoverable files.
Please be comfortable working with common recovery tools such as R-Studio, UFS Explorer, TestDisk/PhotoRec, or similar, and be prepared to guide me through connecting the drive over a secure remote session (TeamViewer or AnyDesk) or advise on the safest way to ship the disk if hands-on work is essential.
