Microsoft eDiscovery Data Backup
Budget: $10 – $30 AUD
I want a complete, defensible export of my Microsoft account data so I can keep an offline backup. The scope covers the entire mailbox—every folder, message, attachment—as well as all files linked to the same account (SharePoint/OneDrive).
The end product must arrive in Outlook-ready PST files for email and a neatly organised archive for the files, with original folder structure, timestamps, and metadata intact. Using Microsoft Purview eDiscovery, Content Search, or equivalent compliance-grade tooling is expected so the chain of custody is clear and the export can hold up if ever reviewed.
Acceptance criteria:
• One PST containing the full mailbox with intact sub-folders and searchable headers
• Separate archive of files in original hierarchy, including version history where possible
• Brief report describing the eDiscovery steps, date-time of export, and verification of data integrity (hash values or comparable check)
Once the export is verified on my side, the project is complete and the data can be securely deleted from your environment.
