Budget: $30 – $250 USD

We are seeking a data annotator to process and annotate 10,000 English-language samples for a parallel detoxification task. The goal is to systematically identify and detoxify toxic, offensive, or inappropriate sentences while ensuring that the meaning remains intact and the resulting text is grammatically correct.

Annotation Process & Steps
Step 1: Toxicity Identification:

Determine whether the sentence contains toxic, offensive, or swear words.
If no, remove the sentence from the dataset.
If yes, proceed to Step 2.

Step 2: Detoxification & Meaning Preservation:

Detoxify the sentence by removing or rephrasing toxic content.
Check whether the detoxified sentence retains the original meaning.
If the meaning has changed, revise again until the detoxified sentence conveys the same intent as the original.
Once meaning preservation is ensured, proceed to Step 3.
Step 3 : Grammatical Correctness Check:

Verify that the final detoxified sentence is grammatically correct and natural.
If any grammatical issues exist, make necessary corrections.

Experience in data annotation, text moderation, or linguistic analysis.
Proficiency in English language comprehension, grammar, and contextual understanding.
Ability to accurately identify offensive content and rephrase it while maintaining meaning.
