Membership Survey Data Analysis using pivot tables

I have the results of a member satisfaction survey in excel format. I need to have pivot tables set up that will allow us to analyze the data and organize it into a report. The data is a combination of demographics and satisfaction responses. I want to be able to look at the differences between how certain demographic groups responded, so we can drill down to make a meaningful analysis of the results.
