Governance of Enterprise Data architecture blueprint across BT and Digital
- Establish standards, policies and procedures as needed to ensure consistency and compliance within a data and information governance framework.
- Responsible for defining Data@Scale architecture blueprint in conjunction with IT Delivery teams
- Working with data governance and privacy and legal teams to codify data management into an architectural blueprint
- Review and selection of technology roadmap for all data and analytics platforms
- Act as design authority reviewing and defining standards and guard rails for - Customer Facing Units and Digital teams
- Deliver Data Fabric and Data Mesh strategy
- Supporting the Technical teams on Product selection
- Working with vendors to resolve immediate challenges and looking at tooling to enable data delivery and efficient data management
- Evolve intercloud and hybrid patterns for data at scale across BT
- Establishing DATAOPS best practices through architecting solutions that support this approach.
- Establish a community of interest in Data Mesh to increase education of analytics technologies (show and tell, hackathons)
- Responsible for the support and review of data architectures of delivery teams and service integrators.
- Establish standards, policies and procedures as needed to ensure consistency and compliance within a data governance framework.
- Clearly demonstrate understanding of the current and emerging technology landscape and how it can be used
Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or relevant field.
- A minimum of 8 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of database structure systems and data mining.
- Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
- Outstanding problem solver.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
