AWS Transactional Email Server Setup

Job ID: 40179944

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I need a production-ready email environment on AWS that reliably sends high-volume transactional messages and feeds performance data back into our CRM system. The core of the build will be Amazon SES, backed by the usual authentication layers (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and protection against bounces, complaints, and spam traps.

Beyond simply sending, I want full visibility into delivery and engagement. Please wire SES events through SNS (or EventBridge if you prefer) into a lightweight tracking pipeline so I can see opens, clicks, bounces, and complaints inside the CRM dashboard. A small Redshift or Athena reporting layer is welcome if it keeps costs sensible; CloudWatch or QuickSight are fine for the front-end charts.

Deliverables
• Verified domain in SES with DNS records correctly propagated
• Production sending quota unlocked and initial reputation warm-up plan
• Event notifications (opens, clicks, bounces, complaints) forwarded to the CRM via webhook or API gateway endpoint
• Real-time and historical analytics view embedded or linked inside the CRM
• Clear hand-off document outlining resources created, IAM policies, and step-by-step scaling/maintenance instructions

Acceptance criteria
• Test batch of 200 emails reaches inbox with <2 % bounce rate
• Open and click events appear in the CRM within 60 seconds of the send
• SES reputation dashboard shows no compliance issues after test run

If you’re already comfortable automating SES with CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform that’s a plus, but manual console work is acceptable as long as the setup is reproducible.
