Türkiye and World Electricty production and grid system data

Job ID: 39820222

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I’m gearing up for an energy-efficiency forum where I’ll speak on “Redesigning the Energy System,” and I need solid numbers at my fingertips. Specifically, I’m after a clean, well-sourced data package that lets me compare Türkiye with the rest of the world for the years 2020-2025.

Here’s the scope I need covered:
• Electricity production: both historical and forecast figures, split by every resource category—fossil fuels and renewables alike—for Türkiye and global totals.
• Grid intelligence: up-to-date grid capacity numbers plus key grid and transmission expansion projects over the same period, again for Türkiye and the world.

Deliverables
1. An Excel or Google Sheet containing all raw figures, clearly labelled, with a source column citing references such as IEA, TEİAŞ, BP Statistical Review, Ember, World Bank, BloombergNEF, etc.
2. A short deck (3–5 concise slides) or memo distilling trends, contrasts, and headline talking points I can quote directly on stage.
3. Methodology notes explaining how forecasts were derived and how historical totals were reconciled.

Acceptance criteria
• Every data point is traceable to a reputable source.
• Historical and forecast figures are clearly distinguished.
• Aggregate numbers add up correctly within each year and category.

If you already maintain datasets from the likes of IEA Data & Statistics, Eurostat or similar platforms, this should be quick work. Timely delivery is important so I can weave the insights into my panel remarks.
