My Vision Express Data Export

My Vision Express (MVE) is a legacy optometry EHR/POS practice-management system that runs on a Microsoft SQL Server backend. It stores structured data for patients, appointments, exams, prescriptions, insurance, billing, optical inventory, and retail transactions. The application uses a client–server architecture, with the SQL Server database hosted on-premises. Data is stored in a series of relational tables, with foreign-key relationships, proprietary naming conventions, and some denormalized structures typical of older healthcare EMR systems.

I need help pulling historical transaction data from MVE into an Excel or CSV file. The fields I care about include the patient’s name, transaction date, patient ZIP code, transaction type, and total amount spent per transaction. I want someone who knows the MVE platform and/or can write a SQL/other script to pull the last 7 years worth of information cleanly.
