Vendor Scorecard Development
Budget: ₹400 – ₹750 INR
I need a straightforward vendor scorecard I can maintain myself. About 15 different vendor categories—such as legal & regulatory services, Branding & PR, Operations Enablement, Physical Infra and real estate etc must be evaluated, but the data points vary by category. For instance, the legal & regulatory category is scored on items like “Regulatory Compliance & Advisory,” while other categories will have their own indicators.
There is another set called common data points that is applicable to all vendors.
Scope
• Create a clean, editable Excel
• Let me list unique data points per vendor category ( applicable to multiple vendors; one vendor can meet all data points and some vendors can be around 4 or 5 data point and each of these data points are categorised as must have, good to have and optional ), there is another set of common data points which are applicable to all vendors.
• Automatically total how many points each vendor meets in its category and common data points convert that to an overall percentage or 1-100 score ( or whichever is appropriate scoring)
This sheet should allow me to input same vendor name for one vendor categories but multiple data points to score how much of data point coverage they can provide under each of these data points ( score 1 to 5 or similar )
• Display results in a single dashboard-style view so I can compare vendors quickly; basic conditional formatting (traffic lights, colour bars, or similar) is fine.
• Include brief instructions inside the file so I can add or remove categories, data points, or vendors later.
A lightweight, formula-driven solution is preferred—no heavy macros or external plug-ins. Hand over the unlocked file plus a short usage note, and I’ll handle ongoing updates myself.
