Trading Profit Tracker Excel Sheet

I’m building a simple yet reliable system to log and analyze my trades, and I want the entire workflow contained in a single Excel file. The sheet has to let me enter trades in both the stock and crypto markets, capturing three fields only: the trade date, the ticker or symbol, and the profit or loss for that position. From there, the file should automatically calculate my running totals, my average profit or loss per trade, and the amount that I can gained or loss, and the percentage return so I can see how efficiently I’m trading over time.

Please structure the workbook so data entry is friction-free—clean column headings, drop-down validation for asset type if helpful, and clearly separated summary metrics. All formulas need to be transparent and easy to audit; no hidden sheets or VBA are necessary for this scope.

Deliverable
• One unlocked Excel workbook (.xlsx) with:
– a Trade Log tab capturing Date, Symbol, P/L
– a Summary tab showing Total P/L, Average P/L, and Profit/Loss % that updates automatically as I add new rows
