Timesheet Hours Entry into Excel
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I have a set of digitally completed Excel timesheets and need those records consolidated into a single, structured workbook. The job is straightforward but must be completed with absolute accuracy:
• Copy each employee’s time from the individual Excel timesheets into a master sheet.
• Break the data out by task, date, and employee so I can slice it quickly for payroll or project reporting.
• Calculate daily, weekly, and task-level totals using formulas—no hard-typed totals.
• Highlight any gaps, overlaps, or obvious entry errors so they can be corrected before payroll is run.
Because everything already lives in Excel, you can use standard functions (SUMIFS, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) or Power Query—whatever lets you move fastest while keeping the data consistent. When finished, return the master workbook, clearly labeled, with a quick summary tab that shows the grand totals and any flagged issues.
Accuracy is the priority: if your sheet balances to the minute against the source files, the task is complete.
