Three-Year Retail P&L Forecast
Budget: $10 – $30 AUD
I’d like a clear profit-and-loss forecast for my retail operation covering 2026, 2027 and 2028. The store’s revenue comes almost entirely from in-store sales, so the model should reflect typical foot-traffic patterns, seasonal peaks and any realistic growth assumptions you think fit a bricks-and-mortar environment.
Core expense buckets I need broken out are rent & utilities, employee salaries and inventory costs. Feel free to add smaller, industry-standard line items for completeness, but highlight the three listed categories so I can track them easily.
I’m comfortable working in Excel or Google Sheets, so build the model there with clearly labelled assumption cells I can tweak. A concise narrative explaining your key drivers—average basket size, turnover ratios, staffing levels, lease escalations, etc.—will help me check the logic quickly.
Deliverables
• A three-year monthly P&L with annual roll-ups
• An assumptions tab I can edit without breaking formulas
• A brief commentary (PDF or doc) summarising the methodology and any risks or upside you see
I’ll consider the task complete once the numbers flow through cleanly, totals reconcile and all formulas remain intact after I stress-test a few scenarios.
