Tableau Sales & Purchase Dashboards
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I need a set of interactive Tableau dashboards that pull data from both our SQL database and a handful of Excel/Google-sheet files. The dashboards will cover two focal areas:
• Sales – displaying Total Sales, Sales by Region, and Sales by Product.
• Purchases – showing Total Purchases, Purchases by Supplier, and Purchases by Category.
Here’s how I picture the workflow: you’ll establish live or scheduled extracts from each data source, build the necessary joins or blends, create the calculated fields for the above metrics, and design clear visual layouts with filters and drill-down capability. A clean, branded look in line with our current color palette is preferred, but I’m open to your UI suggestions if they improve readability.
Deliverable
1. A packaged Tableau workbook (or published set on Tableau Server) with the sales and purchase dashboards fully wired to our data.
2. Step-by-step connection/refresh instructions so I can maintain the links to SQL and spreadsheets without needing to edit calculations.
3. A brief screen-share walk-through once everything is in place to confirm that totals, filters, and tooltips behave as expected.
Acceptance criteria
• All six metrics render correctly and refresh from both data sources without errors.
• Filters load in under five seconds on a standard workstation.
• No hard-coded paths; connections use parameters or relative paths.
