Survey Data Entry & Analysis
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
I’m sitting on a fresh set of survey responses that first need to be keyed into a structured spreadsheet and then explored to surface the key findings. Accuracy during entry is critical—every response must land in the right column—after which I want basic descriptive analysis (frequencies, means, cross-tabs or similar) that tells the story of the data.
Because the material is survey data, I prefer someone who’s already comfortable working with questionnaires and understands common pitfalls such as skipped items or multiple-choice coding. Excel or Google Sheets will handle the raw entry; if you like R, Python, SPSS or similar for the summaries, that’s fine as long as I receive both the cleaned sheet and a clear, well-labeled output file or short slide deck that walks through the results.
When you reply, focus on your experience. Point me to past survey projects or datasets you’ve processed and explain the tools you used to keep error rates low and insights sharp. No expansive proposal needed—your prior work with survey data will speak for itself.
Deliverables
• Clean, fully coded spreadsheet (.xlsx or .csv) of all survey responses
• Concise analytical summary with supporting tables or charts
• Any reproducible work files or scripts used during analysis
I’ll review applications as they arrive and aim to decide quickly. If something’s unclear, just ask—getting the details right from the outset saves us both time.
