Supplier Cost Comparison Spreadsheet Tender
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I’m gathering quotations from roughly a dozen food-service suppliers and need a clean, reliable Excel file that lets me and you plug each quote in and instantly see where we can save money.
Structure I have in mind
• One master workbook with a dedicated tab for every supplier (expect 10–12).
• A dynamic summary tab that automatically identifies the best supplier overall for every line item, taking into account weight and pack-size differences. possible colour coded
• Built-in calculations for total costs per supplier, potential savings against a current baseline, and any weight/pack-size conversions so we’re always comparing like with like.
Presentation requirements
• On the final tab I want a clear “best supplier overall” view, plus space to discuss bundle scenarios if time allows.
• Simple visual aids — a few well-chosen charts that highlight total spend and headline savings — will help me make the case to my client.
Timing
Quotes will arrive over the next ten days; and i can forward these as they come in . I have a couple to ensure that the set up is correct and then i will simply forward these to you . I need the finished, fully-tested sheet on or before 30 April so I have room for final checks and ready to present
Excel know-how with formulas such as INDEX/MATCH or XLOOKUP, data validation, and charting will be essential. If you can set the file up so I can then send to you each suppliers information to enter and drop each new supplier price list in without breaking anything, that’s perfect.
There are 140 sku reviewing , but the suppliers will be sending information over in the same format , so it should be simple , but it will need to be reviewed to ensure it does match
