Summarize Insurance Data in Sheets

I have several raw insurance-finance spreadsheets stored in both Google Sheets and Excel. I need them reshaped into clean, easy-to-read summaries that quickly tell the story behind the numbers.

Your task is purely descriptive analysis: pull the data together, spot and flag any inconsistencies, and produce concise summary tables (or pivot tables where appropriate) that highlight totals, averages, and other key figures for each product line and period. Charts are welcome if they help the narrative, but the main deliverable is an organized workbook that lets a non-analyst grasp performance at a glance.

Please be comfortable switching between Google Sheets functions, Excel formulas (including Power Query when useful), and best-practice formatting for financial datasets. Accuracy, clear labelling, and reproducible steps are essential—I’ll reuse your workbook as a reporting template each quarter.
