Need a person/team to prepare an Excel BOQ from our drawings for structural steel fire-protection coating.
Scope
Surface area take-off (m²) of structural steel members from drawings (PDF/CAD).
Steel member identification + thickness/section size from drawings (group by member type/size).
DFT mapping using our rule table: “If steel thickness/section = A → DFT = XXX” (we will provide the mapping chart).
Total coating requirement calculation (kg) using:
Area × DFT × consumption/yield factor (we can share product coverage + wastage factor and show it clearly).
Deliverable
One clean Excel with these columns (minimum):
Member/Item ID
Location/Zone (if available)
Section type (Beam/Column/Brace)
Section size / thickness (as per drawing)
Qty / Length
Area (m²)
DFT required (µm or mm) (from our mapping)
Theoretical consumption
Wastage/efficiency factor
Total required quantity (kg/L)
Summary tab: totals by section type + grand total.
