Statistical Analyses for Health Literacy Pilot Study

Job ID: 40273056

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

Title (statistical analyses for Pilotstudy)
Statistician needed (R/Python/SPSS): 3–4 tables + 1–2 figures for survey paper (health literacy & social networks)

Project overview
I’m preparing a journal paper based on an anonymised survey dataset (approx. N≈200). I need an experienced statistician to produce publication-ready analyses: 3–4 tables and 1–2 figures, plus a short methods note and reproducible code.

Deliverables

Tables (3–4) – publication ready (Word/Excel):

Table 1: Sample descriptives (key demographics + key variables)

Table 2: Scale/index descriptives + reliability (Cronbach’s alpha)

Table 3: Regression results (main model; optionally interaction HL × CNC)

Table 4 (optional): Cluster profiles (e.g., k-means) or sensitivity check

Figures (1–2) – publication ready (PNG + editable source):

Figure 1: HL vs CNC (scatter/cluster plot or grouped profiles)

Figure 2: Predicted outcomes or marginal effects (e.g., HL × CNC constraint)

Short methods note (1–2 paragraphs) describing:

variable coding and index construction

missing data handling

model specifications (OLS/logistic depending on outcome)

Reproducible code (R preferred; Python/SPSS acceptable) with comments.

Methods/approach (expected)

Basic cleaning, missingness check

Construct indices (HL score; CNC overall + subscales or support/constraint)

Reliability (Cronbach’s alpha; item-level summary)

Regression models (at least one main model; optional interaction)

Optional: k-means or similar clustering (if justified and stable)

What I provide

Anonymised dataset (Excel/CSV)

Variable list / codebook

Draft table shells + target journal style (if needed)

Requirements

Proven experience with applied statistics in health/social science

Strong in scale construction, regression, and publication formatting

Clear written English

Deliver within 5–7 days after receiving data
