Standardise Touch Rugby Excel Data

Job ID: 39773970

Budget: $30 – $250 SGD

I have multiple historical Excel workbooks from different tournaments. Each of them logs match results, player statistics but not in a format that can be migrated into our database structure. Some may have no headers and others with naming conventions inconsistent. I need everything reshaped into one uniform structure so the dataset can be imported into our database.

Here is the outcome I’m aiming for:
- Two template Excel files (structured sheets) that clearly separates match details and player statistics.
> Template 1 - Results - A clean migration of every record from the source workbooks into this template, with consistent header names, date formats (DD/MM/YYYY), divisions, teams, stages, scores, match status etc
> Template 2 - Player Statistics - A clean migration of every record from the source workbooks into this template, with consistent header names such as country, players, Divisions, matches played, try counts etc
- Verified additional checks and highlight any unsure records using the format provided

Acceptance criteria
• No blank header cells; names match the agreed template exactly.
• Row counts in the new file equal the consolidated count from all source files.

Whether you prefer to build a quick Python script, use Power Query, or rely on VBA is up to you, as long as the final deliverable is the fully populated standardised Excel workbook plus any reusable code or macros so I can repeat the process for other datasets.
