Spreadsheet or Software Specialist
We are looking for a skilled Spreadsheet and Software Specialist to help us improve our scaffolding estimating system. This job is posted on platforms like Freelancer or Upwork and is for a freelance software design and development role.
We currently have a locked Excel spreadsheet that we use for quoting scaffolding jobs. We need someone to:
Unlock the spreadsheet.
Analyse and document the existing formulas and logic.
Design and build a new, improved spreadsheet for scaffolding estimates.
Add new functional features, such as the ability to upload and link documents to other sheets or sections.
The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Excel (or Google Sheets) and can design efficient, user-friendly, and robust tools. Experience with workflow automation, document integration, and construction-related estimating processes is an advantage but not required.
Key deliverables:
Unlocked and analysed existing file.
Detailed explanation of current formula logic.
A redesigned, functional, and enhanced spreadsheet.
Optional: Recommendations or implementation of additional automation and integration features.
