Sports Analytics Data Engineer Needed

Sports Data Engineer / Analytics Freelancer (Data Cleaning & Structuring)
We are building a long-term sports analytics system and are looking for an additional freelancer to assist with cleaning, structuring, and preparing historical sports data for automation and Google Sheets use.
Current context:
We are currently reviewing a proposal from an existing freelancer and are reposting this job to compare scope, structure, timelines, and pricing before proceeding.
Sports & Years:
• NFL (2012–2024)
• NBA (2014–2024)
• Tennis (2015–2024)
What we need help with:
• Cleaning and structuring historical datasets
• Standardizing column names and formats
• Ensuring consistent team / opponent / game identifiers
• Applying basic mechanical formulas only (rates, margins, differentials — no modeling or interpretation)
• Delivering datasets that are automation-ready for Google Sheets and future scripting
What we are NOT asking for:
• No predictive modeling
• No betting strategy
• No interpretation or weighting logic
Deliverables:
• Clean CSV or Google-Sheets-ready files
• Pricing broken down by sport or task
• Estimated timeline
• Relevant examples of similar data work (if available)
