Specialist for Image Processing & Data Extraction

We are looking for a tech-savvy professional (IT specialist, data analyst, or similar) to help us process consumer-submitted product images and convert them into structured datasets for analysis.

Responsibilities:
• Develop or implement image recognition solutions to extract product information from images.
• Work with consumer-submitted pictures, which may sometimes have low quality (blur, bad lighting, etc.).
• Convert extracted data into a flat file format (CSV, Excel, SPSS, or database format) for structured analysis.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency in data extraction.
• Automate and optimize data processing workflows for efficiency.
• Future scope: The project may require:
• Developing an app where consumers can directly upload product images.
• Integrating or modifying an API from a barcode scanning app to extract product details.
• Creating a custom barcode scanning feature within the app.

Requirements:
- Background in IT, Data Analysis, or Computer Science.
- Experience with image processing tools (OCR, AI, or similar).
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, SPSS, or other data management tools.
- Ability to handle unstructured image data and improve recognition accuracy.
- Bonus: Experience in mobile app development or API integrations.
