Job Title: Solar Plant Thermal Data Analysis & Report Generation (60 MW Plant)
Description:
We are looking for an experienced solar PV analyst with expertise in processing thermal drone inspection data. The dataset has already been captured using a thermal drone at a 60 MW solar power plant. The requirement is to analyze the data, identify anomalies, and prepare a professional inspection report as per industry standards.
Scope of Work:
The freelancer will be required to analyze thermal and RGB data to deliver insights on the following parameters:
Connected DC check
String healthiness
Module hot spot detection
Module bypass diode condition
Soiling on modules
Foreign particle presence on module surfaces
Shadow on modules (caused by grass, trees, or nearby civil/electrical structures)
Yield analysis (actual vs expected performance)
Module efficiency evaluation
Deliverables:
Detailed analytical report covering each of the above parameters
Thermal anomaly maps and geotagged images of affected modules/strings
Tabular and graphical summary of findings (e.g., % yield loss, hotspot count, module efficiency degradation, etc.)
Recommendations for corrective actions
Requirements:
Proven experience in solar PV inspection reporting, preferably with large utility-scale plants
Strong knowledge of thermal imaging interpretation for solar PV systems
Experience with software tools (e.g., Pix4D, DroneDeploy, FLIR Tools, PVsyst, Helioscope, or equivalent)
Ability to deliver clean, professional reports with clear visuals and technical recommendations
