On-Site Oil Titrations
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I need an analytical chemist or trained lab technician who can visit our facility in Faridabad on short notice and run a full set of titrations—acid value, free fatty acids, and saponification—on a range of skin-care and personal-care oils (castor, almond and similar fatty-acid samples).
Because the work involves oils and fats specifically, I am only considering someone who already performs titrations for these matrices rather than general chemical compounds; the subtle differences in end-point detection are critical for us. You should be completely comfortable working with cosmetic-grade raw materials and, ideally, have handled them regularly in previous roles.
A typical session will include:
• Receiving pre-labelled samples (about 15 per batch)
• Running each titration in duplicate for validation
• Recording every reading, reagent batch, temperature and time in our digital logbook—no shortcuts, as we rely on traceability for audits
• Summarising the data in a concise certificate of analysis before you leave the site
Please ensure you hold at least a B.Sc. (Chemistry or related field) and can commute easily within Delhi-NCR; the instruments and reagents are already in place, so you will not need to bring your own kit. Turnaround is urgent, so availability this week is a big plus.
Deliverables
1. Raw data sheets with complete log entries for each sample
2. A signed test report (PDF) summarising acid value, FFA %, and saponification value for every sample tested
