Simple excel ledger- need it to be reviewed and corrected
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m looking for a sharp eye to go through one straightforward Excel workbook that tracks all Accounts Payable entries from 2023 up to the present. The goal is simple: spot every error that slipped in and put things right so the file balances perfectly.
The ledger has a few small sections that need to be broken out in addition to the full total owed. The issue is when each section is sectioned out and added together which should be the same as the full total, they are not the same numbers.
Here’s what I need:
• Scan the entire sheet, isolate discrepancies, duplicates, mis-postings, or missing entries.
• Correct each issue directly in the workbook and clearly highlight the change.
• Provide a short summary tab listing every correction with a brief note on why it was made, so I can trace your logic later.
The file has only one tab and only has a few hundred rows, so this is a focused task—not a full-scale forensic audit. If you regularly work with Excel-based Accounts Payable ledgers and understand basic reconciliation techniques, you’ll find this quick and straightforward. Accuracy and clear documentation are all I’m after.
