Service Maintenance Schedule Reports

Job ID: 40139174

Budget: $15 – $25 CAD

I need a streamlined Excel-based system that treats our service inventory the same way retailers track stock—only my “items” are scheduled maintenance jobs. Your task is to build and keep up a spreadsheet that shows, at a glance, every upcoming and completed maintenance task across the company.

Here’s what matters most to me:
• Each row represents a single maintenance task, clearly stamped with its status (pending, in-progress, done).
• Filters and pivot-style summaries let me slice the data by location, equipment type, or technician without extra clicks.
• Color-coded alerts highlight anything overdue or scheduled within the next seven days.

I am already comfortable importing raw data from our service portal, so the workbook must accept easy copy-pastes or CSV drops, then refresh calculations automatically. No macros are required, but if simple VBA shortens the workflow, I’m open to it.

Deliverables I’ll use to sign-off:
1. A master Excel template ready to populate (xlsx, no external add-ins).
2. A brief PDF or in-sheet notes section explaining how to add new maintenance tasks and regenerate the dashboard.
3. One example file with dummy data showing the conditional formatting, the dashboard view, and totals of maintenance tasks completed versus scheduled.

If you’ve built similar service-tracking sheets before, show me a screenshot or short Loom clip of your best work when you apply.
