About the Role:
Are you a seasoned trade compliance professional with a passion for customs regulations and client consulting? GHY is looking for a Sr. US Trade Services Analyst to join our growing team. Reporting to the Director of US Trade Services, youll serve as a subject matter expert, mentor colleagues, and provide strategic guidance to clients on complex trade matters.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
1.Collect and compile import/export data for selected commodities.
2.Identify top importing countries, import values, growth trends and average prices.
3.Extract tariff and duty structures (MFN, preferential, FTA benefits) for the commodities.
4.Track and summarize government notifications, incentives and proposals related to the commodities and the key trade route(US-EU, US-India, US-China, US-UAE)
5.Analyze the influence of concerning notifications and incentives, and predict the impact of proposals to come.
Skills and Expertise:
1.Background in trade data research, BA or economics.
2.Ability to interpret tariff schedules and government circulars.
3.Familiarity with US trade regulations.
4.Expertise in data cleaning, Excel/Google sheets and report writing.
Employment Type: Full Time
Salary Range: $60,000 to $80,000 annually (a successful candidate's compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as a candidate's experience, skill set, and education).
Work Schedule: M-F, 9 am- 6 pm, PST
