Sales Revenue Trend Analysis
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I’ll hand over a collection of raw sales CSVs pulled from our e-commerce platform and in-store POS. Your task is to transform that scattered information into clear revenue-trend insights I can share with the team.
The work begins with cleaning: check for duplicate rows, fix date formats, and make sure every transaction lines up with the correct SKU and sales channel. Once the data is tidy, consolidate it into a single worksheet and start analysing month-over-month, quarter-to-date, and year-to-date performance. I’m especially interested in spotting revenue spikes, slow periods, and any patterns that could help us forecast more accurately.
Deliverables I need from you:
• A fully cleaned and consolidated Excel or Google Sheets file containing all sales data
• Visual dashboards or charts (Excel, Google Sheets, Tableau, Power BI, or Data Studio—your choice) that clearly illustrate revenue trends
• A concise written summary (about a page) highlighting key findings, anomalies, and recommended next steps
Accuracy is non-negotiable, so every figure must tie back to the original exports. I’d like the completed package within five days of starting.
