Sales Data Processing & Cleanup - 20/10/2025 08:28 EDT
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have several months of sales data sitting in a database that I need transformed into reliable, analysis-ready information.
Here’s what I’m looking for:
• Extract the sales tables from the existing database and import them into a structured Excel workbook.
• Perform thorough data cleansing—remove duplicates, fix obvious entry errors, standardise date and currency formats, and flag any missing or suspicious values.
• Fill gaps by collecting any additional fields we need from our internal sources so the final dataset is complete.
• Analyse the cleaned data in Excel: create pivot tables, summary dashboards, and clear visualisations that highlight trends, top-performing products, and month-over-month growth.
Deliverables:
1. A fully cleaned and documented Excel file.
2. A concise analysis report (or dashboard) inside the same workbook.
3. A brief write-up describing methods, assumptions, and next-step recommendations.
I’ll provide database access credentials and a data dictionary to get you started. Familiarity with Excel, SQL, and data-quality best practices is essential. If this sounds like a good fit, let’s turn raw numbers into actionable insights.
