Sales Data Behavior Analysis

I have a full extract of our recent sales transactions and I want to turn those raw numbers into clear insights on customer behaviour patterns. The dataset includes order values, product categories, time stamps, locations and a few demographic tags that have already been anonymised. Your job is to explore the statistics, surface the key buying trends and explain how different customer segments move through our catalogue.
Here is what I need from you:
• Clean and prepare the sales data so outliers and missing values are handled transparently.
• Run exploratory analysis in Python, R or a similar tool, then visualise the findings (Tableau, Power BI or matplotlib are all fine as long as the story is clear).
• Identify behaviour patterns such as purchase frequency, basket size evolution, seasonality and cross-category affinities.
• Deliver a concise report that summarises insights, charts and recommended next steps we can act on immediately.
I will supply the raw CSV and a short data dictionary the moment we agree on milestones, and I’ll stay available for quick clarifications. Accuracy, readability and reproducibility of your code or notebooks are must-haves; automated scripts or well-commented Jupyter notebooks make the hand-off seamless.
