SPSS Descriptive Analysis for PTSD Study
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have just finished collecting survey data on the prevalence and associated factors of post-traumatic stress disorder among University of Khartoum medical students after the Sudan conflict. I used google forms to collect the data (e.g., gender, exposure types, yes/no items) and continuous measures (e.g., age, scores).
What I need now is a clean, publication-ready descriptive analysis. Your task is to:
• entry of data and check for errors or missing values .
• Generate frequencies and percentages for all categorical variables.
• Calculate means, medians, standard deviations, and ranges for each continuous variable.
• Create clear tables and, where helpful, simple charts (bar charts, histograms) that illustrate the sample profile and overall PTSD prevalence.
• Deliver an SPSS syntax file with explanatory comments so I can replicate every step.
• Provide a concise written summary of the methods and key descriptive findings that I can insert directly into my thesis, plus the SPSS output tables in an appendix.
No inferential tests are required—descriptive statistics only. The dataset has about 350 respondents and is ready to share. I would like the first draft of tables and summary within three days, followed by one round of minor revisions.
If you have prior experience with mental-health survey data or PC-PTSD-5 scoring, OSSS-3 scoring, BRCS scoring that’s a bonus, but meticulous SPSS work and clear documentation are the priority. Let’s get started soon so I can move forward with my thesis.
