Road-Freight Profit Margin Analysis Excel File
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have an unfinished Excel file that analyses the results and profit margins of a road-freight company by route and truck type. The structure is already sketched out, but several tabs still lack complete logic and I need the cross-sheet formulas tightened up quickly.
What the file already contains
• Separate worksheets for route records, truck specifications and a raw financial extract.
• Basic column headers and some sample data.
What I still need
1. Clean linkage between the three data sheets (rutas, camiones, finanzas) so that input on any one sheet instantly updates the consolidated margin view.
2. Robust IF-style conditional formulas plus VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP (or INDEX-MATCH, whichever is cleaner) to pull:
• Cost per kilometre and revenue per kilometre by route.
• Margin per trip broken down by truck type.
• Alerts where margin falls below a threshold I’ll define.
3. A summary dashboard tab that displays totals, averages and key ratios in a tidy, print-friendly layout.
4. Short inline comments or a separate “ReadMe” sheet that explains the main formulas so future edits are painless.
Timing
I need the completed, error-checked workbook ASAP—ideally within the next day or two. If you have questions while building, message me right away; a fast feedback loop is essential.
Deliver the final .xlsx file with formulas unlocked (no VBA required). Once testing shows the calculations match the sample figures I’ll provide, we’re done.
